Aberdeenshire ADAT Stakeholders Workshop

Planning for recovery.  Turning Strategy into Action.

Purpose:  The overall purpose of this facilitated event is to begin the process of converting the Aberdeenshire ADAT strategy, Routes to Recovery, into a practical reality by creating a plan of the activities that will be required, and agreeing the various roles which will be necessary to deliver the action plan across agency and individuals.  Specific Keynote speakers have been identified in order to stimulate debate and offer national perspectives and priorities.

  • David Best, Manchester University.  Recovery and lessons from elsewhere.

  • Scottish Government Department of Health Alcohol and Drug Misuse Team and Department of Justice Drug Policy Department.

Venue:  Lochter Activity Centre, Oldmeldrum

Participants:
Members of the Aberdeenshire ADAT, Subcommittees and Alcohol, Drug & HIV forums.  Local Authority departments, NHSG and Grampian Police.  Voluntary organisations with relevance to the alcohol and other drug agenda.
